Dr. Jenna BayneDr. Jenna Bayne was raised in Red Deer County, Alberta. After graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, she completed an internship in equine surgery and medicine, at Brandon Equine Medical Center in Brandon, Florida. From there she went on to complete a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine, with a focus in livestock/food animal, at Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama. She is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She served on faculty at Auburn University, in the food and fiber section, while completing a PhD (defended 2017). The focus of her research was on the acute phase response and sickness behavior in cattle. This included the use of remote monitoring technologies. Her interests includes cattle and all other livestock species. Jenna joined Steadfast Veterinary Services in April, 2018, and she looks forward to serving the people and livestock of Special Areas no.2 and surrounding communities.
